Dogwood Trail is a loop path found in the eastern area of the park beginning at the end of the large parking area. The trail skirts the upper waters of Lake Holathlikaha, a favorite warm water bream and bass fishery. The trail is two miles in length and offers views of semitropical habitat lush with oaks and southern magnolias. Other natural features include a wetland and several sinkholes. Wildlife inhabitants include a variety of ducks, cormorants, herons, amphibians and animals. A spur trail offers a short diversion to the lake's edge.
