Sheffield

Sheffield is located in north central Illinois in Bureau County between Princeton and Kewanee near Hennepin Canal. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,000, an increase of 49 since 1990.

For nature lovers, the town is host to the Hennepin Canal Parkway State Park and Mautino SFWA and is only minutes northeast of Johnson-Sauk Trail Park. In addition, Hidden Lake Golf Club beckons to local and visiting golfers alike.
