The Kansas Expocentre is comprised of several physical facilities. The 10,000 seat Landon Arena hosts circus elephants to monster trucks and rock concerts to ice shows. The flexible exhibition hall might feature boat shows, home shows, garden shows , gun shows, auto shows, & tech shows... The R.R. Domer Livestock Arena is used for a variety of shows and events, including livestock sales, and it is the current home of the Kansas State High School Rodeo Championships. Historic Heritage Hall, est ablished in the early 1900's, is a popular facility for weddings, receptions and private parties. This building is also used for meetings and smaller trade shows. Agricultural Hall, originally constructed as part of the old Mid-America Fairgrounds, has hosted hundreds of parties, dances, dinners and events.

Heart of America Shakespeare Festival Kansas City MO June18-July7 The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is set under the stars in South Moreland Park near Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. It is a perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends. They have several programs to study and explore such as Speaker's Bureau and Poster and Sonnet Contest. The faculty includes theatre professionals, actors, and educators experienced in performing and teaching Shakespeare. Many of the instructors are veterans of festival productions.
