, the reservoir covers 4,000 acres at normal multi-purpose pool and offers some excellent fishing and water sports opportunities along 110 mile Creek. Other amenities include a large playground, nature trail, laundry facilities, nearby reservable picnic shelter, boat launching facilities, and numerous bank-fishing areas. There are 36 camping spaces available. There are Drinking Water, Dump Sites, Hookups, Showers.
The lake outlet is a tributary to the Marais des Cygnes River, (Upper Osage River). The nearest large communities are Emporia and Ottawa.
