Best Friend Museum and Shop

Located just a hundred yards from the Charleston Visitor Center, the "Best Friend of Charleston," a full-size replica of the first train in regular passenger service (1830) in the United States, is on display daily. The Best Friend Museum and Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The museum and shop are free to the public.
