Old City Market

Second only to the sights and history of Charleston is shopping! The Old City Market of Charleston offers streets are filled with small shops in historic buildings. The majority of the shopping is located in two areas a few blocks apart. The first are is situated along King Street. King Street is home to countless antique, collectible, clothing and gift shops. The second is Meeting Street around the old Market. The market is filled with vendors selling local art, food, books, baskets, clothing and souvenirs. The Daughters of the Confederacy Museum is in the main building near the Old City Market. The Museum is open on the weekends.
