Broken Boot Gold Mine

This authentic mine produced gold from 1878 until 1904 in one of America's last great gold rushes. Visitors can pan for gold on the site, which interprets early mining processes and equipment. Guided underground tours depart every 30 minutes daily from mid-May through mid-September; senior and large group discounts are available.
