Cohab Canyon Trail

The one-and-one-half mile Cohab Canyon trail follows a sandy route that offers several turnoffs to dramatic viewpoints. Many hikers prefer to follow Cohab's simple course; interesting natural features include hanging gardens that grow from tiny cracks in canyon walls that are marked by eroded pockets, and piles of soft coral sand. The trail head is located near the campground; Cohab Canyon is located within the Capitol Reef National Park.
