Annaberg Plantation

Built in the 1870s, the Annaberg Plantation was once an important

sugar mill in the days when sugar plantations were the norm

in the Virgin Islands. The National Park Service runs the

plantation and gives regular tours. There are no visiting

hours or admission charge. The plantation has a living

history demonstration with someone making johnnycake or

weaving baskets.
