Sir Francis Drake was supposed to have kept over his fleet and looked for enemy ships of the Spanish fleet from this vantage point. The panoramic vista is best viewed at night where there is less traffic and visitors. Expect many vendors during the day selling T-shirts about your Drake's Seat experience.
