Teton County |
Teton County is located in the north west section of Wyoming, south of Yellowstone National Park. The town of Jackson is the county seat. The Bridger-Teton National Forest lies within the county, as well as Grand Teton National Park and the National Elk Refuge, which in all, comprise 97 percent of the county. The valley at the base of the Teton Mountain Range is Jackson Hole, which provides an excellent place for many ski and resort lodges. Among these include Snow King Alpine Slide, a modern ski resort well worth visiting Teton County for.
