Fox Ridge State Park

Amid the rolling hills and thickly wooded ridges around the Embarras River (pronounced Ahmbrah) is Fox Ridge State Park, south of Charleston in eastern Illinos' Coles County. It features a Rent-A-Camp cabin and other camping sites, two baseball diamonds, a horse trail, and nine hiking trails.
