Shawnee Community College

Shawnee Community College is located in Ullin in Pulaski County. Total enrollment is approximately 2200. Satelite campuses can be found in Anna, Cairo, Vienna, East St. Louis and Metropolis.

The College was founded in 1967 to serve the residents of Alexander County, Massac County, Union County and parts of Jackson County and Johnson County.

Programs range from Medical Office Assistant to Practical Nursing and from Alchohol and Drug Abuse Couseling to Power Systems Technician. They have Transfer Programs and Cooperative Programs as well as Distance Learning opportunities--something for "almost" everyone.
