Centenary State Historic Site is the original home of the College of Louisiana (est. 1825), later purchased by the Mississippi Methodist Conference and made the site of Centenary College. In relation to Louisiana, it is the original site of the oldest existing institution of higher education in the State of Louisiana.
Centenary State Historic Site is a state park, open 7 days a week from 9a.m.-5p.m. Admission is $2 for adults ages 13-62, children under 12 and seniors are free.
