Highway 75 is one of the main north-south routes across Eastern Oklahoma. From the Kansas border, it passes to the east of Bartlesville and Skiatook on its way to Tulsa. From there it runs Okmulgee where it becomes U.S. Highway 62/75. it intersects Interstate 40 near Henryetta becoming the Indian Nation Turnpike until just south of McAlester merging with U.S. Highway 69 and turning in a southwesterly direction passing by Atoka and Durant before crossing the Red River.
