This is an authentically re-created 1890s pioneer town comprising more than 40 buildings. The restored buildings are furnished in period style, and include a frontier theater and one-room schoolhouse as well as cabins, hotels, depots and churches. Daily carousel rides, Sunday train rides offered. Located just two miles west of Madison, on the shores of Lake Herman; camping facilities available. Open daily, Mothers' Day through Labor Day.
