Day Trips on the Salmon River |
Our trips thrill floaters of all ages. We raft the "Piece of Cake" section of the Salmon River, 10 miles of scenic whitewater. It's a rollicking ride, yet safe for guided novices.Our most popular trips include lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch. We specialize in barbecue and Dutch oven cuisine. Our boats are the highest quality available. We offer three choices: a paddle raft that everyone paddles, an oar raft which the guide rows, and an inflatable kayak that tests your skills alone, with a guide leading the way. We run our trips in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Daily departures morning and afternoon, May-September. Our office is in Stanley, 3/4 mile west of Hwy 75 on Hwy 21, near the towns of Ketchum, Sun Valley and Challis. Reservations should be made well in advance.
